& We wanted to give you an update about the ongoing issues with email over the past few weeks – the symptom has been delays of anywhere from a few hours to a couple of weeks on email messages.

We’ve had a temporary fix in place over the past few days which has helped make things better but hasn’t solved the problem completely.  Yesterday, we spent a lot of time working on the issue and made a lot of progress – at this point, new messages being sent should be delayed very little or not at all.

As part of our efforts yesterday, you will likely notice that you are suddenly receiving a lot of email which was originally sent to you a long time ago (up to 2 weeks).  Those messages were stuck in the server and had never processed because of this problem.  Now that we’ve made progress clearing it out, they are coming through which is why you are seeing them now.
