Connect to wireless on Windows Vista
The Colorado College wireless network uses the WPA2 protocol with AES encryption and PEAP authentication – your wireless card will need to support all these protocols in order to connect (most newer wireless cards are just fine). Instructions are as follows:
1) Click the wireless network icon in the system tray (lower right) and select “Connect to a network.”

2) Select “tigernet2″ from the list and click “Connect.”

3) Click “Enter/select additional log on information”

4) In the box which comes up, enter your Colorado College username and password. Enter “coloradocollege” in the “Logon domain” field and click “OK”.
Note: you can check the box to save your logon information so it will work automatically in the future.

You’re finished! Now you’re connected!
Registering the Network Card:
The first time you open a web-browser after configuring your wireless card, you will be prompted to register the adapter’s Ethernet address (if you’ve already registered your wired connection, your wireless connection was registered at the same time so you don’t need to do this). Just follow the on-screen instructions to register.
If you are having problems connecting, contact the Help Desk at x6449 or HelpDesk@ColoradoCollege.edu for assistance.
