Classes: General Computing Skills Level 1
| General Computing Skills Level 1 is designed to help you if you feel extremely uncomfortable around computers and have never used them before (or used them on a very limited basis). We will demystify the computer and how it works for you, as well as go over some basic functions such as how to turn on the computer, what all the plugs are for, how to work with the keyboard and mouse, etc. This class is more "theory" while General Computing Skills Level 2 is more "hands-on."
The class will cover:
- The physical components of a computer
- Things to know about a computing environment
- An explanation of what all those plugs on the back are
- Basic skills such as how to turn a computer on, how to work with a keyboard and mouse, etc.
The class is approximately 90 minutes long.
