Classes: General Computing Skills Level 2


General Computing Skills Level 2 is designed to build off what you learned in Level 1. We will begin discussing and using the computer within the Operating System and going over many basic functions. This class is the more "hands-on" while Level 1 is more "theory"

The class will cover:

  • The basics of the Windows operating system
  • The Desktop, Recycle Bin, Control Panel, Screen Savers, and "My Computer" screen
  • Using Software
  • Creating Shortcuts (and talking about what they are and how to use them)
  • Manipulating Windows (opening, closing, resizing, minimizing, maximizing, and moving them)

The class is approximately 90 minutes long.
