How to access Public Folders


Access Public Folders from Outlook 2003/2007

& Access Public Folders from Outlook Web Access with any other browser (i.e. Safari, Firefox, Mac Internet Explorer, etc.)


Access Public Folders in the Outlook Web Access Client with Internet Explorer on a PC

Log into email using the “Check E-mail” link on the CC home page. There, look below your Inbox and other folders — Public Folders should be at the bottom of the list. Just click on that to bring up the folder list (usually as another window).

*Note: The following screenshot only applies to Internet Explorer on a PC using the Premium client. if you are using any other browser, please Click Here.

& Access Public Folders from Outlook Web Access with Any Other Browser (i.e. Safari, Firefox, Mac Internet Explorer, etc.)

Log into email using the “Check E-mail” link on the CC home page. There, find the “Public Folders” icon in the left middle side of the window. Clicking on “Public Folders” will open them up in the reading pane.

To access Public Folders in Outlook 2003/2007:

Log into the full Outlook program using your normal Windows profile. In Outlook 2003 and 2007, you will need to be in the “Folder List” view (rather than the default “Inbox” view). To switch to this view, click on the small folder icon below your “Mail,” “Calendar,” “Contacts,” and “Tasks” shortcuts:

Once you’re in Folder List view, find “Public Folders” at the bottom and click the “+” to expand the folder:

To access Public Folders in Outlook 2000:

Log into the full Outlook program using your normal Windows profile. In Outlook 2000, you will need to display the “Folder List.” If you do not have the Folder List visible already, you can go to the “View” menu and select “Folder List”:

Once you have your Folder List, scroll down to the bottom and expand “Public Folders” by clicking the “+”:
