Go to the “File” menu and down to “Open” and “Other User’s Folder…”.
You can enter the name of the person whose folder you want to open, or click on “Name…” and select the name.
The folder will appear in the folder list now.
Note: You need to have permissions in order to open a user’s folder. Click here to view the FAQ on giving someone access.
Outlook 2000
On a Macintosh or PC, in Outlook, go to the “Tools” menu and down to “Services.” Highlight Microsoft Exchange Server and click “Properties.” At the next window, click on the “Advanced” tab. At the top, under “Open these additional mailboxes,” click the Add button, type in the person’s name, and click OK. Click OK and then OK again. Make sure you are viewing the Folder List (go to the “View” menu and select “Folder List”), and you will see the person’s mailbox in your list. You must first have permissions on his/her mailbox before you can open it.
