Forward your CC email to Gmail
First, sign up and/or log into your GMail account at http://www.gmail.com. Once logged in, click the settings button in the upper right hand corner of your screen.

Next, click Accounts, and then Add Another Mail Account.

A new box will pop up. Enter your CC email address, and click Next Step.

The next screen will ask you for a number of account settings.
- Enter your CC username and password in the spaces provided.
- The POP server is securemail.coloradocollege.edu, and the port is 995.
- If you wish to leave a copy of emails in your CC email box, be sure to check the first box; otherwise, all emails will be removed from your CC mailbox as soon as they are sent to GMail.
- Be sure to check the second box to use a secure connection to transfer your emails.
- The next check box lets you optionally specify a label for your incoming email. This can be very helpful to organize the email once it comes into your Gmail account.
- Finally, you can optionally check the last box to archive your emails. If you check this then emails from your CC mailbox will not go to your Gmail inbox. Rather, they will be archived immediately.
Click Add Account when you are done setting your options.

Finally, select No when it asks if you want to send email using your CC account through GMail; this is not currently supported by the CC email system. Click Finish.

That’s it! Emails will now be imported from your CC email account. If you created a label, you can click on that label to see your CC messages.

* Note that GMail will only pull in emails from your CC inbox, not including subfolders. If you wish to forward emails from other folders (including inbox subfolders) in your CC account, you will need to move them into your CC inbox.
