With the upgrade to our Listserv software that we performed on Maintenance Day over Spring Break (03/24/06), the Staff and Faculty Digests are set by default to arrive in a new HTML format that will allow you to click headlines as opposed to having to peruse an enormous block of text.

Unfortunately, the new format does not work for all e-mail clients. Below are instructions for logging into the Listserv system and changing your subscription options so that you receive the Digest in the traditional format instead of the new HTML format, if you wish to do so.

1) Click the following link to go to the main listserv page: http://listserv.coloradocollege.edu/cgi-bin/wa.exe

You will see the following page:

2) Click “Log in” on the lefthand side.

If you have never before logged into Listserv (this will be true for most of you) then please follow the instructions here to create a Listserv password before continuing: http://helpdesk.coloradocollege.edu/index.php/tips-and-how-to/listservs/create-a-listserv-password/

(this link will open in a separate browser window. When you are done, simply close it and you should be right back here)
Use your LISTSERV password to log in.

3) Click the “Subscriber’s Corner” link in the upper left:

4) This will show you all the lists you are currently subscribed to. Click on the “Settings
of the appropriate list title (FACULTY-L or STAFF-L) to open the specific options for that list.

5) You will see a screen that looks like the following. Under the “Subscription Type:” heading, it will be set to Digest (HTML format).

6) Click on the radio button next to “Digest (traditional)”, and then click “Update Options.” That’s it! From now on you will receive the specified Digest in the old format. Should you ever wish to change it back to the new format, we recommend visiting this page again and simply reversing this last step.
