How to Restart Your Computer in Safe Mode
If you are having trouble with Microsoft Windows, you can restart your computer in Safe Mode. Safe Mode is a diagnostic mode which only loads the bare essentials needed for Windows to operate. Viruses, trojans, worms, adware, or spyware which infect computers will load and begin running when you start Windows; once running, these programs can be very hard to remove. Safe Mode keeps these types of ‘malware’ from starting up, which makes removal much easier. Once in Safe Mode, you may run your antivirus or antispyware software like normal, and this will often yield much better results than in normal mode.
